dc.description | This paper builds upon ongoing research about well-being indicators for Native American children and youth, by primarily exploring the strengths perspective. Such a study had not yet been conducted; most previous research focused on the deficits of children, families, and tribes. The literature is therefore very limited on the strengths topic. To complete this study, materials pertaining to this topic were gathered. This project represents an innovative and creative leap into this new area of inquiry. | |
