We have attempted, in this text, to broadly describe different child protection models in Child in the United States, Iceland, and Eastern Europe and newly emerging regional efforts to address violence more broadly through collaborations with community based leaders, women’s organizations and educators to produce peacebuilding adults. We hope very much that our respectful reader will benefit from this programmatic review and, perhaps, share with us new strategies and help us identify new heroes as we strive to create a safer, healthier communities for children and for our future communities.en_US
