dc.description.abstractProfessional counselors are encountering clients who are experiencing severe and pervasive crisis and trauma. Occupational hazards such as compassion fatigue, burnout, and vicarious trauma are common to the counseling profession. Those entering the profession, counselors-in training, require resilience to protect their well-being, aid wellness and ensure professional fitness. The purpose of this article is to provide techniques for building resilience in counselors in-training for counselor educators.en_US
