This handbook is meant to support policy makers dealing with the rights of the child in the digital environment. It fosters a balanced view and approach in making political or strategic decisions in respect of the home, school or in the public sphere. Two years after the adoption of the Guidelines, the handbook aims at upholding the strong messages and guidance promoted by them and at providing all stakeholders concerned with tools and checklists to verify that no major aspect has been or will be neglected in legislative and policy making processes.en_US
