dc.description | The purpose of this paper is to explore the weaknesses in recognizing and reporting child abuse, and to recommend possible strategies to address these weaknesses. The data suggests a need for regulatory enforcement of continuing education in child abuse. In addition, health-care providers and social workers are encouraged to be part of a multidisciplinary approach to prevent, investigate, and treat victims of child abuse.2,3,4,5 This collaboration will increase the quality of care for children. | |
