dc.description.abstract | This study described the child welfare professionals’ perspectives regarding the effectiveness of services and practice interventions for children who were exposed to domestic violence. As a descriptive quantitative cross-sectional study rooted in General Systems Theory, a non-probability convenience sampling method was utilized to acquire 50 qualifying participants. Researchers utilized a four point Likert Scale questionnaire to measure the participants’ perspectives regarding the effectiveness of domestic violence services and practice interventions. Data analysis revealed the majority of child welfare professionals perceived the services and practice interventions as effective in helping children and families exposed to domestic violence. However, this study also demonstrates the need for further research into measuring the effectiveness of domestic violence services as well as the need for improvement of services for children exposed to domestic violence.
