This manual is the result of the recent fl ood disaster in Namibia and eff orts made to improve the preparedness for future disasters in the educa on sector. It is being piloted and tested out in Caprivi. Comments and feedback will be incorporated in the development of the planned Na onal School Manual on Emergency Preparedness and Response.
