This manual is the result of the recent fl ood disaster in Namibia and eff orts made to improve the preparedness for future disasters in the educa􀆟 on sector. It is being piloted and tested out in Caprivi. Comments and feedback will be incorporated in the development of the planned Na􀆟 onal School Manual on Emergency Preparedness and Response.
