Abstract
The Inside Out Violence Prevention Project was undertaken over a period of two years between May 2007 and May 2009 and utilised a variety of primary prevention strategies to address the major Project goals. The twin goals of the Project were: to build organisational capacity for addressing issues of violence and abuse, and to enhance a respectful organisational culture. This document details the range of organisational, workforce and communication strategies implemented, and highlights successes and limitations. It also assesses the capacity of the organisation to progress various Project initiatives within existing resources and identifies future opportunities if additional resources are allocated.
