How to be a Super Witness
Abstract
Super Witnesses understand that it is not their job to win the trial of a child abuse case. However, they also embrace the approach that their involvements as witnesses — expert or otherwise — begins well before walking through the courtroom doors and taking the oath. This session will discuss a “Keep Calm and Carry On” philosophy to preparing for your testimony, making sure that all your concerns and needs as a witness are met prior to trial, and then once so prepared, focusing mightily on the target audience — the jurors!
