Abstract:
Research tells us that certain attitudes and behaviors can indicate a person’s risk for offending a child sexually. While these indicators alone may not be against the law, they are signs of risk to children’s safety that need to be taken very seriously. These attitudes and behaviors require a response from bystanders with the goal of preventing child sexual abuse. This training teaches adults to recognize concerning attitudes, boundary violations, grooming behaviors and actual sexual offenses. The training also provides instruction on how to respond to these behaviors safely and skillfully
