APSAC seeks to improve the quality of practice of professionals who work in child abuse and neglect by providing professional education that promotes effective, culturally sensitive and interdisciplinary approaches to identifying, intervening, treating and preventing child abuse and neglect, and promoting research and practice guidelines to inform all forms of professional practice in child maltreatment.
